« Abantu » signifies « the people » in Zambian and refers to a movement that the Zambian people initiated themselves.
This movement has been growing since 1994 and has also attracted much interest in Europe.
Abantu Zambie was created in 2004 as a non-profit association (ASBL) under Belgian law.
Abantu Zambia has enabled 6000 children to attend school. We have worked with more than 20 villages, and are still in partnership with 15 villages. Our projects reach out to a population of 50 000 inhabitants in such fields as agriculture, health care, education, access to water, financial aid for projects...
